Louis Saha believes Manchester United should not 'hijack' a City move for Evan Ferguson if the blue half of Manchester make a bid for the striker.
Unfortunately, Ferguson suffered a knee injury in that 3-1 Brighton win which ruled him out of Ireland's recent Euro 2024 qualifiers against France and the Netherlands.It remains to be seen when he will return to action, but an injury update is expected from Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi before their clash with United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
But the former French forward is against United moving for Ferguson just because City may be interested in signing him. "Regarding Manchester United ‘hijacking’ a move for Ferguson if Manchester City go for him in the summer, then I wouldn’t agree with this approach as they should only move for players that have a real desire to move to Old Trafford.
