Sheikh Mansour has jetted in to Istanbul to make a rare public appearance at the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium
Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour has travelled to Istanbul to watch his side take on Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
The Sheikh, whose full name is Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was sat with City chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak, who is a much more familiar face at matches. He was expected to greet manager Pep Guardiola and the players before kick-off to wish them luck. After the final whistle, he will jet back to Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mansour is the brother of the current president of the UAE, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nayhan, who is estimated to have a personal fortune of £16.8bn. He is in charge of the country’s sovereign wealth fund, estimated to be worth £799bn.
