Mr O’Sullivan died at Cork University Hospital on April 6th. He was hospitalised after an alleged incident at Glentrasna Court, The Glen, Cork city, on March 11
A man has appeared before Cork District Court charged with the murder of a pensioner in The Glen in the northside of Cork city in March of this year.
In cases where a person has been charged with murder bail cannot be applied for at the district court. Free legal aid was granted and Frank Buttimer was assigned as the solicitor to Mr Wolfe. Meanwhile, following the death of Mr O’Sullivan a postmortem examination was conducted at Cork University Hospital by Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster. The results were not released. However, the case was upgraded to a murder probe.
