The collision on Benburb Street in Dublin 7 caused delays on the Red Line
A collision involving a tram resulted in huge disruptions on Benburb Street in Dublin 7 on Monday afternoon. Emergency services could be seen working at the scene for some time.
The crash meant Red Line services were only running from Tallaght/Saggart to Blackhorse and there were no trams running between Blackhorse and The Point/Connolly. Dublin Bus said it would accept Luas tickets for the duration of the disruption. A Luas spokesperson has apologised for the inconvenience. The spokesperson said said: "We are doing our utmost to restore a full line as soon as possible. Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of this disruption."
