A murder investigation is underway after a woman's body was found in Co Louth.
Gardaí say her body was found at a house on Bridge Street in Dundalk on Wednesday evening.However the results are not being released for operational reasons.A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to the case.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those who were in the vicinity of Bridge Street on the afternoon/evening of Wednesday May 24th, to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dundalk Garda station on 042-938-8400, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800-666-111 or any Garda station.
