The Mayo music manager spoke about his time on X Factor, his success with Westlife ahead of their upcoming US tour, his new band and his favourite music to play at home

Good news for Westlife fans as their manager Louis Walsh has said he hopes they will put on concerts in Ireland next year.

Louis added that they still love performing. "We do love what we do but it's 23 years later. They have great songs."I am hoping Westlife will come back and play the Aviva and Croke Park next year or the year after," he told the Brendan O'Connor show on RTÉ Radio 1. The manager revealed he also has a new boyband on the scene. "They are called Next in Line, five young Irish guys, and they are really good. I don't have a record deal [for them yet]."

"It's still a great business. Look at One Direction, look at Taylor Swift. It's crazy. There's never been so many great Irish people too.
