Manchester United suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in their opening match of the Champions League season, with Harry Kane grabbing a crucial goal from the penalty spot
Harry Kane kept his cool to bury a penalty for Bayern Munich against Manchester United in their opening Champions League match of the season on Wednesday night.
But before taking it, Kane was faced by United defender Lisandro Martinez, who gave him a stare and a few choice words into his ear as he held the ball on the spot. Sergio Reguilon was also nearby to try and put Kane off, before United captain Bruno Fernandes pulled both of them away. Bayern took the lead in the 28th minute when Leroy Sane exchanged passes and fired a shot from the edge of the area at Onana, who pushed the ball into the corner. Four minutes later it was 2-0, with Jamal Musiala bursting into the penalty area before setting up Serge Gnabry to shoot into the bottom corner.
