Everything you need to know about the singer’s concert on Sunday, June 4th
Few artists have had number one songs for more than a decade straight: Hello. Endless Love. Three Times A Lady. All Night Long. None other than pop royalty Lionel Richie will be in Dublin this weekend for one of the first summer gigs of the season. Between his Las Vegas residency and judging punters on American Idol, Richie has found the time to tour Europe and the US, kicking off his first one in Ireland.
With Ireland’s summer firmly showing its colours this week, can we expect the weather to hold up? What will Richie play? And how can you get to the gig?The show kicks off at 6pm, but with support from English 1980s synth-pop band The Human League and Irish rockers In Tua Nua, it will likely be some time before Richie graces the stage.The gates open at 5pm and fans are advised not to turn up early as not to cause disruption around the area prior to the concert.
