Goals from Mikey Johnston, Evan Ferguson and Adam Idah secured victory for Stephen Kenny's side
Liam Brady watched the Republic of Ireland beat Gibraltar 3-0 in his final game as an RTE pundit on Monday night, but believes the Boys in Green are still a long way off qualifying for a major tournament.However, Brady doesn't see Ireland qualifying for next summer's Euros as they now prepare to face France and the Netherlands in September.He said: "I'm saying the players are not good enough to qualify us for a Euros or a World Cup.
"He has had two and a half years of where the media have backed him when results were really, really poor. We've had some terrible results - Luxembourg... Azerbaijan - but they stuck with him and to be fair I said it tonight he's given young players a chance.
