Lewis Hamilton will hope to bounce back at the United States Grand Prix after crashing out on the first lap of the Qatar race in a collision with Mercedes team-mate George Russell
Mercedes are worried about the high-speed performance of their cars ahead of the United States Grand Prix.
Just one practice session on Friday will give all the teams very limited time to get their cars into their respective optimum set-up windows. And Mercedes trackside engineering director Andrew Shovlin has one particular concern about how the W14 will behave at the Circuit of the Americas. "It's difficult to know exactly where we are going to stand out, but our goal is to go there and hopefully be fighting for a podium. We had a really good chance of getting both cars on the podium in Qatar but, hopefully, we will be fighting for the podium in Austin."
