The defender is one of the club's longest-serving players and is a big fan favourite.

Lee Grace wants to be a Hoop for life - and he would love to compete the four-in-a-row and be recognised in the same light as the legendary Shamrock Rovers side of the 1980s.

Asked if he wanted to end his career at Tallaght, Grace said: “You can never say never, but I couldn't see myself playing anywhere else at the moment.“It's obviously good when you are winning things as well. But you can't start picturing that until there is a game or two go and it's within reach.“It would be great to go down in history as another team to do it.

However, Grace said again: “You never say never. I'm sure Dundalk are saying that as you never know what may happen.
