Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore has revealed she was subjected to vicious trolling and abuse online, similar to what her late friend Caroline Flack experienced before her tragic death aged 40.
However, Caroline, who was a long-time friend of Laura, took her own life while that season of the show was airing.Laura spoke about the impact that Caroline's death had on her: "You take over this really glamourous entertainment show, and I had taken it over from Caroline. She said she still gets triggered by comments online. "Even comments I got about myself, and I saw those comments written about Caroline when she was doing the show.
