Kerry Katona has broken her silence on Phillip Schofield's affair and her views on ITV's This Morning after her infamous 2008 interview left her feeling suicidal
Kerry Katona has spoken out about Phillip Schofield's affair after his bombshell admission over the weekend.
She also discussed Phillip's affair after the former This Morning host admitted having an "unwise" but "not illegal" affair with a young ITV employee. Kerry said the backlash "was just awful" to deal with, adding: "Next day, front page of the papers, 'Sherry Kerry', 'Merry Kerry'. It was just awful. I was suicidal. I wanted to die, I wanted to kill myself. It was everywhere."
In his statement, he said: "I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning. Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over.
