“I remember the Voice of Ireland as my time with Dolores as opposed to my time on the Voice'
Kellie was a runner-up on The Voice of Ireland in 2014 where she had the incredible opportunity to be personally mentored by her idol, the iconic Dolores O'Riordan.
“I was working in a nightclub and I came home on the Friday night and I had heard that the new coach had been announced.”After seeing the announcement, Kellie was determined, “I googled it straight away and then when I saw it was Dolores, I contacted as many people as I could the next day asking please, please, please, I really want to do the voice of Ireland.”
“I remember the Voice of Ireland as my time with Dolores as opposed to my time on the voice.” Kellie told RSVP LIVE. Kellie added, “On the final night, I helped her to the car with her stuff that was just a really special moment just for the two of us.”When asked what Dolores was like on a one to one level Kellie said, “She just wanted to talk about the most normal, everyday stuff.
“She made me feel special. It’s just everything I could ever want in my whole life when it comes to my heroes. And I got it. I'm really grateful for that.”
