Supporters were locked out of a top of the table junior league soccer match on Wednesday night after a vicious brawl the previous week involving numerous people including players and spectators caused a cup semi final, in Dundalk county Louth, to be abandoned minutes before the end.

The Louth branch ISRS have not responded to request for a comment. A league spokesman said, ‘The league have no comment to make as an investigation is ongoing.’
