The 5:20pm train from Galway to Heuston is a busy one
Irish Rail has issued a response after a photo was posted online showing a Galway train with massive crowds which was referred to as an "unsafe" environment by one passenger.

However, I do appreciate this can be uncomfortable at times. Please confirm the service and departure time. I will pass on your feedback."
“Once they are sold out, they are no longer advertised. Tickets can be purchased at the station, with these limited on sold-out services. I will pass on your feedback." She added: "Irish Rail pulled the passenger numbers for this train. There was 419 people on the train leaving Galway.
