Irish former Love Islander Yewande Biala hosting new documentary on the female orgasm
Yewande Biala is presenting a new documentary all about the female orgasm.
The documentary will see the biotechnologist visit a female-only sex club, attend a vulva-gazing workshop, and speak to various doctors and women about their experiences of pleasure and sex education in school.that she had never experienced an orgasm herself – and did not know women could orgasm until she was 19 – and that encouraged her to take part in the doc.
Nigerian-Irish Irish Yewande said that her Catholic upbringing triggered much shame and anxiety when it came to sex, masturbation, and pleasure. She told The Guardian that one girl in her school spoke openly about masturbation…“And people did not let her live that down. So why would I ever do that and have people slag me?” she said. “I felt so sorry for her. You’d never want to say to your friends: ‘Do you masturbate?’ because if that got out, it would have been hell.
