The World Cup begins on September 8th with Ireland playing Romania on the 9th.
The long-awaited 2023 Rugby World Cup begins in around two-weeks time with Ireland harbouring very real hopes of lifting their first ever Webb-Ellis Cup.
The tournament begins on Friday 8th September with Ireland's first match a day later against Romania. Andy Farrell's side are in a favourable pool that also contains Tonga, Scotland and South Africa. Ireland are amongst the favourites to win the World Cup with New Zeland, France and South Africa also heavily tipped for success on French soil.

The excitement levels will be rising exponentially if Ireland can make it past the quarter-finals for the first time. A maiden semi-final would take place on either Friday 20th or Saturday 21st October.
