There were a number of frontliners who left Ireland fans fearing for their availability for the World Cup quarter-final against New Zealand

Andy Farrell has delivered Ireland's first medical bulletin ahead of next Saturday night's World Cup quarter-final against New Zealand.

Although the Ireland supremo didn't mention any injury issue with Tadhg Furlong, who signalled to the bench but then walked off freely when he was replaced in tonight's victory over Scotland, Farrell did address the injuries picked up Mack Hansen , James Ryan and James Lowe . "Obviously, we'll see how they pull up in the morning but Mack went off with a HIA and when he came back on he felt his calf straight away, so we got him off," Farrell said."James Ryan has a bit of a knock on his wrist that we have to assess more, so we'll see how he is now.

"James Lowe got a bang in the eye, his eye shut and he couldn't really see much. His vision was coming back towards the end of the game, which is good.Robbie Henshaw was ruled out of tonight's clash due to a hamstring problem. Both Henshaw and Keith Earls were the only members of Ireland's 33-strong squad not to participate in the warm-up before the 36-14 defeat of the Scots.
