Donal Lenihan says Ireland's win over New Zealand last summer will have an impact
Former Ireland player and head coach Donal Lenihan believes Andy Farrell’s side are favourites to advance to the semi-finals next weekend.
"And the fear and the aura that's around the All Blacks, the fear that maybe Ireland had in the past going into games like that, we won't be beaten for going in there with an inferiority complex, that's for sure." There has already been much talk of former Ireland coach Joe Schmidt’s role with New Zealand with coach Ian Foster believing Schmidt’s presence will be of huge importance to the All-Blacks.
"We're in a good place but New Zealand have been waiting in the long grass for over a year,” he said.
