Hickey was Cody’s monolith – effectively holding down the number three berth from 2000-2011 . Canice Brennan was full back in Cody’s inaugural season of 1999, but Hickey took hold of the jersey the following year and would keep it for over a decade. Delaney then switched seamlessly from wing back to manning the edge of the square from 2012 to 2014, when he retired.
