Alert at Dublin garda station sparked by 'historical explosive device'
The Defence Forces bomb disposal unit has been called to Balbriggan Garda Station after a device was brought into the building.It is believed the device is a historical explosive device.
That person then brought the device - which is believed to be historic in nature - to the public office of Balbriggan Garda Station. “Someone found the device in the town and they brought it to a person they know because that person has an interest in military devices. But then that person brought it to the garda station,” the source continued.
