'We just found out at the gate it was cancelled I want my money back ASAP.'
Day-ticket and weekend ticket holders for the Forever Young Festival in Kildare have been left disappointed after being told they will not be permitted to attend the event today due to inclement weather.
The throwback event in Palmerstown House outside Naas in Co Kildare has been hit with unseasonably wet weather, forcing organisers to make the call in the interest of public safety. In a statement, they said: "We are so sorry to announce that due to the extreme unseasonal weather conditions, the safety team at Forever Young Festival need to postpone ALL day visitors to the festival until tomorrow, weather permitting."We are heartbroken to bring you this news, but everyone's safety has to be our priority."Anyone on site is at present unaffected and we intend to run the show to a reduced audience.
