AIB Irish Services PMI dipped from 56.7 in July to 55.0 last month - still in the green zone, but the slowest rate of growth since January

The rate of grow in the services sector slowed last month, according to the latest AIB Purchases Managers Index .

The services sector ranges from business services and tech, to tourism and leisure, hospitality and transport and is currently the largest employer in Ireland. Registering 55.0 in August, the latest AIB Services Business Activity Index posted above the critical 50.0 neutral threshold to mark two-and-a-half years of consecutive monthly improvements in the Irish services economy.
