'We know that the likes of Uruguay and other teams in their position become stronger and stronger in this period and we’re expecting a similar type of game tomorrow night in the way Tonga want to play'
Ireland are expecting Tonga to produce the kind of Rugby World Cup performance that saw big underdogs Uruguay scare France in Lille last night.
"They didn’t give France a moment to settle into the game and get into their rhythm and they played some really good attacking rugby themselves. “But we know that the likes of Uruguay and other teams in their position become stronger and stronger in this period and we’re expecting a similar type of game tomorrow night in the way Tonga want to play.Former All Blacks Charles Piutau, Malakai Fekitoa, Augustine Pulu and Vae’a Fifita add massive quality to a team that already has fearsome physical strength.
While Ireland are expected to win in Nantes tomorrow night, head coach Andy Farrell has picked a strong team for the occasion."They've got guys in the forward pack that can mix it, they can offload."And then in the backline, they've got attacking threats throughout their backline. Full-back Hugo Keenan was asked about the threat that Piutau will pose - the classy back is well known to Irish rugby fans, having played for Ulster for a period.
