FORMER AUSTRALIA OUT-HALF Christian Leali’ifano kicked 16 points as Samoa beat Chile 43-10 to start their Rugby World Cup with a bonus-point win.
Chile head coach Pablo Lemoine made four changes from last weekend’s loss to Japan, which was Los Condores’ first game at a World Cup.Leali’ifano opened the scoring with an early penalty before Chile responded as prop Matias Dittus found a way over from the bottom of a ruck on their first visit to Samoa’s half before Santiago Videla converted to make it 7-3 after just seven minutes.
