Legendary singer Elton John slipped over inside his sprawling villa in Nice, France late last night and was taken to hospital where he was treated for injuries
Elton John has been rushed to hospital after he suffered injuries following a fall in his villa in Nice, France. The 76-year-old musician was taken to hospital after the fall late on Sunday night.
He was rushed to the orthopaedic department of the Princess Grace hospital in Monaco, The Mirror reports. Elton received 'checkups' from medical professionals after the slip at his home in the south of France. The Tiny Dancer hitmaker is now thought to be recovering at home after being discharged from the hospital on Monday morning. A representative for Elton confirmed the ordeal in a newly released statement, saying he suffered a 'slip'."We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France," they told The Mirror. "Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure.
