Taoiseach Leo Varadkar warned about speculation when it comes to Budget 2024, before listing a range of measures he believes will feature as part of October 10's announcement.
Green Party leader Eamon Ryan has said that next week’s budget will be “difficult” as the Taoiseach warned that the final budget package will not be signed off until Sunday.
The Irish Mirror asked Minister Ryan if he thought that all energy credits would have to be put on bills this side of the new year. If so, this could limit the number of credits that can be given due to a limited number of billing cycles before Christmas. Mr Varadkar said that the budget “hasn’t been agreed” and probably will not be signed off until Sunday.
