Vinters association has asked the government to increase spending on cleaning and Garda patrols in the city
Dublin pubs have urged the government to increase spending on keeping the streets clean and to step up the Garda presence in the city amid frustration over dirt and anti-social behaviour.
The Licenced Vintners Association , which represents pubs in the capital, raised the issues at a meeting last week with Tourism Minister Catherine Martin and Simon Coveney, the Minister for Enterprise. Donall O’Keeffe, the chief executive of the LVA, also confirmed to the Business Post that the group was meeting with Dublin City Council and An Garda Síochána about the issue in the coming weeks.
