The former Rose of Tralee joined Ryan on his RTÉ Radio One show in March where she discussed her interesting childhood, her career as a clinical psychologist and what annoys her about manifesting
Dr. Clare Kambamettu, a senior clinical psychologist, has hit the headlines in the last number of weeks as reports suggest she has been Ryan Tubridy’s ‘rock’ as his RTE career sadly imploded.
Continuing on, she explained: “The traditional idea of manifestation, and I believe it has its roots in Hinduism, has a few different parts to it. So, you have the idea of believing or thinking certain things about yourself, but you also have to take some steps towards achieving whatever it is you are thinking about. That was the idea around manifestation and I have no problem with that.”
Clare, who has a Master’s in Mental Health specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, explained why the idea of believing that you can ‘think’ all your dreams true is dangerous. On a lighter note, Ryan referenced actor Barry Keoghan, who has had huge success in his career and always talks about his little book of dreams where he writes down who he wants to work with and the part he wants to play.
