Deoleo cierra proceso de venta con beneficio récord
The sale process of Deoleo is approaching its final stretch after the company has managed to steer itself back on course in recent years. It closed 2025 with a turnover of 821 million euros and a profit of 19.7 million, following two years of losses.
Its profitability continued to improve in the first half of 2026, earning in six months what it did for the entire previous year, with a notable presence in high-value markets for the sector like the United States. It has been present in Spain for more than two decades, having acquired its business in the national market amounts to nearly 400 million, and additionally, Seville is the headquarters of the family holding Farmers Elite Global.
The Italian group would increase its turnover to 2,000 million and become the leader in Spain and Italy, the two major historical markets for olive oil, as well as creating a 100% Spanish global leader with over 2,000 million in revenue. However, it might encounter competition problems, as it would control five leading brands in Spain: Dcoop is the candidate currently lagging behind.
