Daniel O’Donnell said people should leave Patrick Kielty alone to ‘get on with it’ as he backed him as a great addition to the Late Late Show.
But the busy Donegal native, who has been touring America, said that while he couldn’t make it back in time to take part, he made sure to tune in.He said: “I wasn’t here, I was away, I was in America.“I think he is doing a grand job. They should leave him alone and get on with it, I think he is doing great.
It comes after Daniel and his wife Majella are mourning the death of Majella’s beloved mother Marion Roche, who died at St Mary's Nursing Home in Galway last month.“She hadn’t been ill for long and you know they are grateful she didn’t suffer or anything.Fresh off his American tour, Daniel was speaking at the Hidden Hearing Heroes Awards in Dublin where the world of showbiz and entertainment stepped out in style to celebrate Ireland’s everyday superheroes.
