The man, aged in his late 20s, received treatment for non-life threatening injuries
Gardaí are appealing to the public for information which may help them in their investigation into a hit-and-run in Dundalk, Co Louth on Monday afternoon.
The cyclist, a man aged in his late 20s, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries during the collision.He was removed from the scene to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Dundalk where he received treatment.A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Any road users and pedestrians who were on Castletown Road, Dundalk and surrounding areas on the afternoon of Monday between 1.45pm and 2.30pm and noticed any unusual activity is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
