“As the saying goes if something feels too good to be true, it probably is, and it was”
Kathleen Allen thought she had the “perfect life” after she met her ideal match in her partner Jamie Nagle back in 2017.Things were seemingly going great for the two lovebirds and just before Kathleen found out she was pregnant with their first child, Jamie decided to leave the hotel, go out on his own and start his own business, a decision Kathleen says she fully supported.
Kathleen’s story is an honest one of falling in love, as she believes the two started out on a fairy tale journey where everything seemed to be perfect, and although for a while it was, Kathleen says “if something feels too good to be true, it probably is”. What happened next saw the introduction of over a dozen fake aliases, bank accounts with hundreds of millions of euros, tax investigations, and blood on the walls, all the while Kathleen was expecting the pair’s second child.
“You Couldn’t Make This Up” is the true story of Kathleen’s love affair with the man she never truly knew, a lifestyle she never understood, and a circle of friends she never met.Get the latest RSVP headlines straight to your inbox for free by signing up to our newsletter
