Conor McGregor was a very happy man after earning his jiu jitsu black belt on Monday.
Earlier that day, the Irishman was awarded a black belt by longtime coach and friend John Kavanagh in front of his peers at SBG in Dublin.
A clearly emotional McGregor thanked his teammates and coaches for all their support throughout his career before declaring that he was 'SBG for life.'He did so in a striking fluorescent pink Dolce and Gabbana outfit, tied together by the black belt that McGregor chose to wear proudly as he celebrated.
Instagram The milestone is the latest in McGregor's famous career and signals the completion of a ten-year goal that McGregor outlined in his youth. In 2013, McGregor tweeted that all he wanted was two UFC titles, a Hall of Fame career, €25 million in the bank and a jiu jitsu black belt. The black belt was the second last piece of the puzzle, though McGregor is bound to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame once he officially retires.
