Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton has an easy method that levels up a traditional messy bun to something a bit more chic.
But what if you want to get your locks out of your face quickly and don’t want to compromise on style? Well, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton has a method that might become your new favourite.
All that’s needed to pull off a bun hack is a single elastic, some bobby pins, and a bit of hair spray. To kick things off, grab your hair in a ponytail using a standard hair elastic and stop once you have about one go-around bobbin left.Instead of pulling all of your locks through to the end, use your thumb and index finger to create a loop of hair, leaving the ends hanging down. Then, pull on either side of the looped hair to fan it out into kind of a bow-like shape. That’s your bun section.
