A Swiss tourist and five French holidaymakers have been arrested after a teenager from the UK was allegedly gang raped in Magaluf.
It is alleged they took the 18-year-old woman back to their hotel after she had met them while at a party on Monday, local media has reported.It is alleged the men, all in their 20s, then raped her before the terrified teen fled looking for help, the Mirror reports.Six men were then arrested and remanded into custody yesterday after making a court appearance in Palma.
The probe, led by a team of Civil Guard specialists, is expected to take several months to complete. A spokesman for the force said: “I can confirm we are investigating an alleged gang rape at a hotel in Magaluf. We were alerted by the hotel in the early hours of Monday after the alleged victim raised the alarm.
