Brian hosted Big Brother UK from 2011-2013 as well as Big Brother's Bit on the Side after being a housemate himself on series two of Big Brother and Ultimate Big Brother
Brian Dowling has said that he feels some people "change history" when it comes to his tenure of presenting Big Brother UK.In the run up to the show, many people and programmes have been looking back on Big Brother's history, but Brian said some people try to "erase" him from the show's presenting past.Taking to Instagram, the father-of-one wrote: "I was only 33 years old when I was offered the job of hosting the main show.
"Speaking honestly, I always feel some people like to change history & try & erase the fact I hosted the show directly after Davina & then it went to Emma . "The new hosts of Big Brother AJ & Will were being interviewed & they were asked if they had spoken to "Emma & Davina" obviously as the ex hosts & then their pics were brought up on screen. Yet again, there wasn't even a mention of my time hosting, or even anyone on the production team that would have at least flagged that I was also an ex-presenter."
He went on to say that getting recognition from his peers in the industry would be incredible, and that he finds it "so odd that this keeps happening". The new series of Big Brother launched last night on ITV and saw a diverse cast of 16 housemates enter the house.
