The RTE presenter and Ciarán share four children, Síle, Peadar, Comhahal and Darach.
"I got married at 25, which is really young," she said. "I met Ciarán and it was a whirlwind romance, no question about it. We met and we decided we were going to stay together and that was that.However, for any couples out there, Bláthnaid advises to embrace any changes that come as you grow older together.
"Personalities change, you develop, you progress and you evolve. If you’re lucky then the relationship will evolve with you, but don’t just presume that things will stay the same. Sometimes the change is something that’s a really pleasant surprise."As well as embracing the changes that come with her relationship, Bláthnaid is enjoying the changes that are coming as her children grow up.
