Comreg, which is the statutory body responsible for the regulation of the electronic communications sector, confirmed they were aware of the issue but no steps were being considered in Ireland yet - but said they were monitoring any developments.

Irish authorities are closely monitoring a decision to ban sales of the iPhone 12 in France over radiation fears.
