However, the Sheffield rockers took to social media the day before the scheduled show to say that lead singer Alex Turner was suffering from acute laryngitis and had been ordered to rest.Apologising for the cancellation, the group said that full refunds would be credited back into ticket purchasers' accounts by Ticketmaster.
Now though, Arctic Monkeys have announced four new Irish concerts - three of which will be held in Dublin's 3Arena, with the other happening in Belfast's SSE Arena., Turner's bandmate in his side project The Last Shadow Puppets, will be a"special guest" for the Irish gigs.
