American country music star Luke Combs has announced that his wife Nicole has given birth to a baby boy.The pair announced the happy news on their Instagram accounts, saying: "8.15.2023 - Beau Lee Combs. Welcome to the world. We couldn’t love you more."It appears that Nicole gave birth about two weeks ago. This was a little earlier than planned, as she was due in September, according to People magazine.
He is also in the midst of his massive world tour, with 40 shows across three continents and 16 countries. This run is the largest tour ever for a country artist and he continues to make history, breaking concert attendance records in Nashville. Still, a career in music couldn’t have been further from his mind. In fact, his dream was to become a homicide detective.
He started to teach himself to play and the rest was history. He had recently been introduced to the artist Eric Church, and this all combined to be the driving force that propelled Luke towards music. "You don’t even realize how important it is until later—with the rise of the internet, if you have a song or a video that does well, all of a sudden, you can be playing shows for thousands of people, and sometimes those people struggle when they get out on stage.
However, while the hits may have come easy with one number one quickly following another, it was harder for Combs to adjust to the celebrity life that came with them. In an interview with People , Luke admitted that he had nothing at the time and was very much the portrait of a struggling musician. While many people doubted that his and Nicole’s relationship would go anywhere, the pair started dating.
“I spend a lot of my time at home, really,” Combs admitted at a recent launch in Nashville. “We’re on tour now, but we, for the most part, play one show a week. "I want them to have the things that I didn’t have. But I also want them to have the things that I did have, which was a really fun, normal feeling childhood.”
