Adele halted her Las Vegas residency show on Saturday night to call out a security guard for 'bothering' a fan in the audience, much to the delight of the North London singer's fans
Adele has been hailed as a "Queen" by fans after halting her show to defend a fan from disruptive security at her latest concert.
The 35-year-old was just about to launch into the sixth song on her Weekends with Adele setlist when she ordered her band to stop playing, before calling out an incident unfolding in the pews. "Can we stop a minute?" she said, taking the mic to move towards the edge of the stage. "What is going on with that young fan there? He's been bothered so much for standing up. What's going on? What are you doing? Why are you bothering him? Can you leave him alone please?" She then reassured the fan he wouldn't pestered any more and urged him to "Enjoy the show, darling," before telling everyone, "He's here to have fun.
The Grammy winner's online followers were quick to praise their idol's call out, with many taking to Twitter to share their reactions. "What an icon," one person wrote, while another said, "She knows how to handle it." The heartwarming moment comes just a week after Adele helped an expecting couple in the audience of her Vegas show find out the gender of the baby.
