The Your Bad Self star was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.
Actress Karen Egan has revealed the support she received during her breast cancer helped her through “some dark moments and difficult situations”.Opening up about her diagnosis, she said: “I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. The supports around me really helped get me through some dark moments and difficult situations.”
The former member of singing and comedy trio The Nualas, is due to take to the stage as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival with a play inspired by her own experience with cancer, is ambassador for the Irish Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Tara added:: “I found great solace in the Irish Cancer Society supports following my cancer diagnosis. When I was first told it might be cancer, I didn’t really know where to turn to, and I knew nothing about the world of cancer.
